NZ scientists from AUT believe they have worked out a way to film the elusive giant squid. The team from Auckland University of Technology, led by Steve O'Shea, is at the cutting edge of new discoveries about the mysterious deep sea creatures. It now knows they come to specific places in New Zealand waters twice a year to breed. Dr O'Shea says this means scientists can be in the right place at the right time. The team will try to film off Hokitika next July... |
